What a beautiful location, but oh, that water looked cold! If I went to a remote place to write, I think I’d give up on the laptop and just bring a notebook and pen.

My handwriting is so ugly I rarely write in longhand these days.
But I do carry a notebook around to jot down notes and sketch mind maps for projects.
I still believe a good sturdy notebook and a pen are the best gifts for a writer.
(and yes, jumping in rivers like that is bonkers!)
