Trailers from Hell

A bout of insomnia last night led me to the discovery of a very fun thing caled Trailers from Hell.
Basically it’s directors, screenwriters and other noted professionals presenting and commenting the trailers of their favorite movies.
Nothing fancy, but really fun.

Here’s John Landis, and one of his (and my!) favorites, King Solomon‘s Mines

Roy Chapman Andrews and the Dinosaurs of Mongolia

It’s Sunday, let’s go back in time.
Here’s some footage from the Roy Chapman Andrews expeditions in Mongolia and the Taklamakan/Gobi desert in 1913.
Enjoy!

Bride of the LEGO God

Giacomo Dacarro, the webmaster of the blog Trasmutazioni and my long-suffering cover artist Giordano Efrodini had a go at a LEGO version of Bride of the Swamp God.
It’s great, and I think the world needs to see it.
My series work has just begun, and already I have fan-art and action figures!

Dr Obsidian!

This week, something different – the teaser for a documentary on the long forgotten pulp hero, Dr Obsidian!
Judging from the teaser, the  the planned documentary will cover both the movie serials and the pulp novels, and will feature commentary from well known luminaries in the field of pulp collecting and pulp writing.

This is really worth a look – and thanks to my friend Story Foru, back at Miskatonic University, for suggesting it!

Enjoy!
