This photo, taken in Les Alles, in Paris, early in the 20th century, is – to me at least – the sort of picture that holds within its frame a whole story.
We have just to find it and write it.

I like this picture quite a lot – and I’m sure there’s a story in there!
As I think I mentioned already, I’ve been thinking about writing a supernatural mystery, maybe a ghost story, something involving an occult detective… a team of occult detectives, actually.

The degree of detail on this painting is absolutely wonderful – you can actually imaginethe whole world in which this scene is taking place.
