The winners of the 2022 Scribe Awards

Here is the list of the winners of the award assigned by the International Association of Media Tie-In Writers.
And yes, I am not on the list – my story All my friends were monsters made the shortlist but did not come out on top.
But it was great anyway.
Congratulations to all the winners.

… and it looks like I’m one of them.

The Scribe Awards are assigned every year by the International Association of Media Tie-In Writers, in a number of categories including novels, short stories, audio-drama, etc.
Past winners include the likes of Alan Dean Foster, Max Allan Collins and Guillermo del Toro, among many others.

The list of the 2022 nominees has just been published, and here’s the “Short Story” section…

Short Story
Arkham Horror The Devourer Below: “All My Friends Are Monsters” by Davide Mana
Black Panther: Tales of Wakanda – “Bon Temps” by Harlan James
School of X: “Kid Omega Faces the Music” by Neil Kleid
Voices of Varuna: “Distress Signals” by Jean Rabe
Voices of Varuna: “Stepping Stones” by Marsheila Rockwell

I am extremely proud of having made the shortlist, and I wish all the candidates, in all the categories, the best of luck.
Here you find the complete listing.
The winners will be announced during the next San Diego Comicon.
Let’s wait and see…
