Visit the Dying Earth (and do some good)

A quick heads-up for those of you out there that like roleplaying games, or Jack Vance – or both.
The Bundle of Holding is offering the Compleat Dying Earth package – everything you need to play in the world of Cugel and Rhialto, as to say The Dying Earth Roleplaying Game, designed by Robin D. Laws and published (quite fitytingly) by Pelgrane Press.

One of the best features of the game, to me, is its skills and combat system, that is designed not so much to emulate/simulate actual actions in the real world, but convey the flavor and the wordplay of Jack Vance’s fiction.
It’s a very easy system, and the setting is such a collection of oddities and weirdness, that’s impossible not to be drawn into the world.

For about 16 euro you will get TWO versions of the RPG handbook (the classic Dying Earth RPG and the Revivification Folio), plus a fine selection of sourcebooks.

Go all in (about 35 euro), and you’ll have everything that’s ever been published for the game – supplements, scenarios, gazetteers, tomes of mysterious lore and five issues of The Excellent Prismatic Spray.
The bundle also includes a volume of Vancian spells adapted for the D20 system.

Part of the money will go to Cochrane Reports, an organization that is assisting policy-makers in tracking the evolution of the current pandemic.
So, it’s a good thing.
