Seven Lives

I mentioned at the end of august how I was trying to do something in support of a cathouse in Lanzarote – because I like cats and because as a long-time Harry Flashman fan, I love the idea of telling people that I pay to help the ladies working in a cathouse.
Yes, I know, it’s juvenile, so sue me.

Cats with no name, by Robert McGinnis

Anyway, in the intervening weeks I realized that with my finances in shambles there is very little I can do for the cats and the ladies.
What to do?
The only thing I can do, in fact, is write.
And so I started writing.

The project is called Seven Lives.
I will write six stories – and my Patreon supporters will get them first, with extras, because it’s good to be my patrons – and once I have all six done, I’ll add a seventh no one ever saw before, and publish it as a book, both in Italian and English.
And all the proceeds will go to two cathouses – one in Italy, I Randagi del Lago, and one in Spain, Freddy’s Cathouse.

Two cathouses in two different nations.
Flash Harry would be SO proud of me.

What will be the stories about?
Well, there is a new BUSCAFUSCO story already done.
Then, I am planning a new adventure of the Corsair, and a new Aculeo & Amunet story.
There will be a ghost story featuring my new character, Miss Valerie Trelawney (soon to appear in excellent company in a big anthology – watch this space for news).
A new series will debut as part of this project, featuring a certain Russian aristocrat (if she’s really Russian, not to mention an aristo).
And more.
Already I have secured permission to write… ah, will save this for later!
I’m having a lot of fun, and I wonder if I’ll be able to stop at seven stories…

But for starters, we have set up a mailing list – you can subscribe to keep up to date with the project’s developments, and should you decide to spread the news through your socials, there’s a short story you can download, as a thank you for your courtesy.
It’s an old Aculeo & Amunet story, and maybe you read it already.
Or maybe not.
It’s there to whet your appetite – there’s a lot more coming.

  1. I just read ‘The Ladies and The Cats’. It was good to see Buscafusco again, I missed him!
