For the second time in a month, something happened to Cynical Little Angels.
First, in the last week of September, the ebook was blocked by Amazon/KDP because somebody had reported it as stolen – that was not my story, they said, I had copied it from somewhere.
A blog, they said.
Turned out the incriminated blog was Karavansara – where I had posted an excerpt of my book to, you know, try and sell more copies.
I had to write to Amazon and clear the issue.
But now Cynical Little Angels is gone, completely.
It does not show on searches, it does no longer appear on my author page, and even the link KDP gives me for the product page of the ebook leads nowhere.
I get a “page missing” notice and the photo of a fluffy dog.
Amazon wants me to buy a puppy.
I am waiting for a reply to my inquiries.
The whole situation is quite frankly, irritating.

I tried to comment yesterday, and apparently it got lost somewhere in the ether, so I’ll give it another try.
“Amazon wants me to buy a puppy.” is one of the weirdest things I ever read.
What is weirder, it what’s happening with Cynical Little Angels. I hope everything will be sorted out soon, but, just in case, remember the extrema ration we talked about months ago: if you really need it, call in the big, scary guns!

Weird about the comments.
And weird about Angels – but after a rather confused and embarrassed mail from Amazon, that sort said “uh… wha–? Give us 24 hours!”, now the ebook is again available on all the amazon Stores.
But it has lost all the reviews 😦

Just realized today that Cynical Little Angels was back. When I checked, I saw that all the reviews (including mine) were gone.
So I wrote a new one 😉
Let’s see how long it takes for the Einsteins at Amazon to get it put up.

Yes, Amazon blundered badly.
They not only lost my book for a few days, but they also deleted all the reviews.

So I got an email from Amazon telling me that my review was “live”. When I went back to the CLA page through Google to Amazon, nothing showed. But when I used the link that I got in the email, the review was there.
The wonders of dealing with a corporate colossus……..
