Decluttering

Yesterday night I was talking with a friend about the decluttering movement that seems to be pretty popular out there but has yet to get a hold of Italy, and today I decided to do some overhauling of my blogs, decluttering the lot.

DeclutterYourLife

I checked the stats, and basically removed all the links that had not been clicked recently (say, in the last year). Some stuff I moved to the menu on top of the page, the rest I have excised. Now Karavansara is still a little top-heavy, but now it’s a lot easier on the eye.
Or is it?
What do you think?
Suggestions?

Oh, and as I was at, I had a go at the typography of the blog, too.
Is it more readable now?

Very readable, not so sure about clutter-free: is the Amazon Wishlist link supposed to be very big, at the bottom of the page? This is what I get on mobile Chrome requesting for a Desktop version of the site, will have to check from the PC.
But if the blog loads fine from Astigianistan, we can all conclude it’s pretty clutter-free, can’t we? 😛

Perhaps some of the posts that did not get clicks were not seen and would still be appreciated. The ones you like that you think others would like I would, instead of deleting, bring them forward to re-post.

Oh, what I canceled were not links to older posts and such, but links to various projects of mine that have a life of their own.
I’m trying to make the blog easier to read, and also to bring forward the contents of the blog, eliminating distractions.
Let’s see if it works 😀
