Today I caught on the telly a trailer for a new action movie – for the first time in history of cinema! a movie shot through the viewpoint of the main character.
Basically, an actioneer shot using a Go Pro camera.
From the trailer, it looks like a very high-definition, film quality replay of some first-person shooter.
And I, being old and the sort that loves black and white movies, I remember fondly another for first time in the history of cinema! movie entirely shot in first person subjective.
The most amazing since the movies began!

It was called Lady in the Lake, and it was directed by Robert Montgomery.
I hate when stuff like this happens… makes me feel sooooo old.

Hardcore Henry wasn’t a good movie, but there was a poster for Lady in the Lake on the wall in one scene.
