A brief post to show you the wonderful cover for my forthcoming novella, A Storm Brewing, set in the gaming universe created by my friend Andrea Sfiligoi for his company, Ganesha Games.
This will be my first all-out “traditional”, high fantasy story in about fifteen years.
And given my tastes in fantasy and Andrea’s A Song of Blades and Heroes universe, it will not be that “traditional”, after all. Nor it will be very high, probably.
I love this cover, by the way. It’s absolutely perfect.
And yes, that’s an eyepatch-wearing, pig-riding whip-cracking halfling redhead girl in the background.
What’s the story?
When will it be out?
Are there other books in this series?
I’m just the writer, not the publisher, so I can’t really answer those questions.
I can tell you there’s a second novella planned, by new pulp giant Barry Reese. And I can’t begin to tell you how proud of being in the same team with Barry Reese.
But I know nothing about what he’s planning, so I can’t tel you about his book.
On the other hand, I could tell you about my story.
About the heroes, about the bad guys, about the pigs and the mushrooms, about the magic and the beer.
And I will! But not yet.
For the moment, rest assured I’m writing my best, and I’m having as much fun as possible. And that’s good, because if I have fun writing it, you’ll have fun reading it.
Want to know more?
Patience. Watch this space, ladies and gentlemen.
News will come, soon.
