It’s been a bad few days, with more bad days to come.
And as you’re reading this, my Italian-language blog is officially on indefinite hiatus.

It’s been a painful decision – strategie evolutive has been around for seven years, and it has sometimes been my home much more than the physical places in which I have lived.
It’s been fun, but it was not fun anymore.

There’s a story about a guy that opened a pub just so he could have somebody to talk to.
It’s a story I used to tell when explaining why I started my blog.
There’s a bit about that story that usually did not get in the telling.
It is the bit about the day the guy realized his patrons were no longer talking to him, except to say “shut the f*ck up and gimme a beer!”
The guy closed his pub.
End of the story.

So here I am, smack in the middle of a writing binge (so much to write, so little time!), suddenly with only just one blog to run, and seven years of blog gone for good.
Well, it happens, doesn’t it?

It’s a new dawn, like Grace Slick said at Woodstock.
