From Giles Milton’s “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare”
That was a good book. Great behind the scenes insights into the methods (or the lack thereof in some cases LOL! ) used and some of the “characters” who ran the ops in the early parts of the war until the upper ranks took over and tried to remake them in the regular military mold.
