What about a virtual gaming convention?
Aethercon is the largest online convention for roleplaying games and gamers, and it will take place on the next weekend, between November 10 and 12. It will feature demo games, speed painting tournaments, panels and interviews. There will be publishers’ stores and vendor booths.
Everything online, managed through Hangouts, Skype etc.
I will be there with my friends of GGStudio and Savage Worlds Italia, and I’ll bring Hope & Glory to the table.
We’ll start on the 10th, at 4 PM EST, when I’ll join Gionata dal Farra, master and commander of GGStudio, for an interview.
The following day, Saturday the 11th, at 9AM EST, I’ll master the first Hope & Glory demo game.
The scenario is called Weekend in Shimla.
Hope & Glory is a post-colonial, quirky steampunk setting developed by me and Umberto Pignatelli for the Savage Worlds game engine.
The demo will be repeated the following day, at 2PM EST on Sunday the 12th.
Between the two demos, at 12 PM on the 11th, I’ll sit on a panel about sandbox games, with a number of other fine game creators.
Wanna join us?
It’s easy, and it’s free.
HERE you’ll find the complete list of events, and the links to book a seat.
There are only six slots for gamers on each of the two demos, so hurry.
And also check out theother events. There’ll be some incredible stuff going on.
