Buscafusco is (almost) back

buscafusco ghosts & shadows smallAnd with an extreme delay, the second BUSCAFUSCO story is done, and is currently being lovingly manipulated by Mr Bezos’ gnomes.

This one is called Ghosts & Shadows, and is set during the Montferrat Winter – following the Autumn exploits of the first story in the series.
The idea is to do four volumes, covering four seasons – the next one therefore should be Spring.

As in Women & Children, once again Buscafusco will be tackling two cases at the same time – a kidnapping and a haunted house.

Readers will find a few characters that somehow managed to become “regulars” in the series, from Maresciallo LiCausi to Matilde Ciambotti.

In other news, Buscafusco is also taking center stage in my crowdsourced writing project – and in the story Santi & Fattucchiere (Saints & Witches) he will make his debut in Italian. I hope the Italian readers will like the guy.

Back to Ghosts & Shadows, I have no idea of the time the Amazon galley slaves will take in finalizing the file – but I hope the ebook will be online by the weekend.
Various problems with Smashwords caused me to momentarily suspend publication on that platform (pity, because they pay higher royalties).

And because I have a lot of things to do, and because as long as you are on a roll you better keep rolling, as soon as I nailed shut BUSCAFUSCO – Ghosts & Shadows, I started working on a new Aculeo & Amunet short.
I’ll let you know when it’s finished, and where you’ll be able to find it.

I might send an uncorrected raw first draft of the Aculeo & Amunet story to my Mailing List subscribers.
That would be neat, don’t you think?
