A quick one.
As I said, things are moving fast for my Aculeo & Amunet stories.
I’m happy to report that the new A&A story, Severed-Heads Valley, will be published in six monthly installments in the Peripheries of the AncientWorld newsletter, starting this month.
Severed-Heads Valley is a 6000 words story taking place in late 277 AD, somewhere in the mountains of Northern Iran.
Hard-up for cash and stuck in a caravan town, Aculeo and Amunet accept to track-down the runaway wife of a horse merchant.
But they’ll get more than they bargained for.
The Peripheries newsletter is a free resource for fans of my stories – you can subscribe here.
The newsletter will hit your mailbox once a month (ideally, on the last weekend of the month), and will include exclusive contents, behind-the-scenes, cover reveals, assorted sillyness and whatnot.
And no, we will not sell your data or your soul to anyone.
Check it out.

Cannot wait to see the new story. I felt honored by seeing an early copy of the last one, but now it’s just that much harder to wait for the new one. Also, your plans for serialization give me hope for my own sword-and-sorcery venture, though I’m sure yous will be better. Can’t wait.

Thanks for the enthusiasm!
In fact, the idea of serializing my story came also from your project (about which I hope I’ll be able to write more extensively in the future): good ideas are always worth stealing.
In the meantime – ten days (more or less) and the first episode will be ready… just a little patience 😉

Well, now I definitely can’t wait. I’m curious to read the Italian translations as well. And thanks! 🙂 Didn’t know I’d inspired you to serialize. That makes me feel a little better about my own project, and damnit, I guess I’ll finish this week’s story after all. Civediamo a pronto… err ci leggiamo a pronto, forse? Ciao.

“a pronto” is Spanish, I think 🙂
“Presto” is the italian equivalent – ci sentiamo presto, or if you prefer, ci leggiamo presto.

Mi dispiace… vivevo in Napoli. ‘Mbboh. (Or however you spell that wonderful Neapolitan word…) Ciao, mi amico scrittore. (Is that right?)

Considering that this is a sword and sorcery newsletter I have some doubts on the assurance that there is no soul bargain 🙂

I’ll acquire my readers’ souls, in small monthly installments 😀

Neat idea! I’m in for the ride
