Bruce Lee studied philosophy and considered ideas from the East and the West. I think philosophy is the difference between combat training and martial arts. It’s interesting to see the similarities in ancient Greek ideals of physical fitness and mental acuity, the enlightened concept of the European renaissance person, and the martial arts idea of the warrior scholar. Bruce Lee understood that questioning led to knowledge.

Good observation, Theron!
The general public often forgets that Bruce Lee was a much more sophisticate individual than the ones he portrayed in his film roles.
